  • Do you work with my pet's primary or specialty vet(s)?

Your pet’s primary or specialty vet information will be requested in your new client intake form, so we can ensure your pet is getting a comprehensive health plan tailored to their needs. Therefore, it is important to consult your vet about any illnesses or injuries.

  • How do I prepare for a session?

Your massage therapist will arrive with everything needed for the session! That being said, pet’s feel extra comfortable using familiar blankets, beds, or even toys (not recommended if your pet is known to resource guard). So, feel free to have their favorite items ready for them. If your pet is a picky eater or has food allergies, you may even provide their favorite treats from home. Learn more about what to expect at your first session here.

  • What should I expect after a session?

All pets react differently to massage. Some may want to nap, others may get energized, & others may become hungry or thirsty. It will depend on your pet & what techniques are used during their session. Regardless, they will always receive a tasty treat from us at the end of any session (with pet parent approval).

  • What age is best to begin massage for my pet?

    All ages benefit from massage!

Young to adolescent pets: Helps acclimate to touch for future interactions (ex. groomers, walkers, sitters, new people), promotes healthy growth during development, soothes growing pains, & reduces risk of injury while their joints are still developing.

Adult to middle-aged pets: maintain strength & alleviate stress from their day-to-day activities. Pets often “go-go-go” without realizing their limits. During this time, they can sustain injuries that may cause long-term pain or worsening conditions. Massage keeps their bodies functioning & strong, so they can keep being those active, happy goofballs as long as can be.

Senior to geriatric pets: Getting old can be stressful with aches, pains, stagnating bodily functions, increased medications, and vet visits. Massage helps soothe tired minds & inactive muscles, improve circulation & range of motion, boost their immune system, & much more.
